Ganesh, Ganapati, Ganesha , is the most revered god throughout the Hindu world, his history is fascinating and his powers just as much. He was born to Shiva and Parvati, the desired child of his mother Parvati but who does not know his father, Shiva, having been born during a pilgrimage of his father.

Eager to take a bath, Parvati then asks her son not to let anyone into their home, and when Shiva returns home, Ganesh refuses entry to this stranger. Furious, Shiva, who does not know that he is his child, cuts off his head. Parvati, mad with grief and rage, orders him to bring her child back to life under threat of destroying all the forces of heaven.

Shiva orders his servants to bring him the head of the first living being found and therefore has the head of an elephant fixed on the body of his son. Ganesh is the master of little geniuses, he removes obstacles, is the god of wisdom, intelligence, prudence and wisdom.

We invoke him to move and remove obstacles when we have a project, a desire.
