Labradorite Pendant Stone

A mineral of the anorthite variety from the plagioclase feldspar family, labradorite presents oily aspects with shifting green, blue and gray colors when polished.

Its name was given to it by the geologist "Foster" in 1780 due to its discovery a little earlier in the Labrador region of Canada.

The Inuit people gave it the most incredible powers and thought it was made by the Northern Lights.

Today the known deposits are in Canada, Ukraine, Russia, Madagascar, the United States as well as France.

Its color changes depending on the sampling region.

For its maintenance, we prefer to let it soak in spring water then recharge it in the light of the moon.

Known for its protective virtues, labradorite is a stone which absorbs the ambient negative and annihilates it by absorbing it.
